Babylon 5 takes place in the year 2259, 10 years following the Earth-Minbari War. At a five-mile-long space station orbiting a planet in neutral space, Cmdr. Sinclair (Bruce Boxleitner) tries to establish peace between various interstellar empires. This is a difficult job because sabotage had destroyed four previous Babylon stations.
