When he met LL Cool J, rapper Young Leek stated clearly and strongly "You are my idol," but that didn't mean the young upstart wasn't about to challenge the hip-hop legend for the club single of the year, 2006. After moving to Baltimore from Atlantic City, Young Leek and his father -- also his manager -- hooked up with Stay Gettin' Entertainment to shop his Nelly-meets-Bow Wow sound. Soon his "Jiggle It" track was blowing up on Baltimore radio, thanks in no small part to the taste-making DJ K-Swift. Plain Pat from Def Jam caught wind of the Leek-mania and offered the 15-year-old a contract. Def Jam reissued the single in the spring of 2006. David Jeffries, All Music Guide
