Born August 26, 1938 - American actress Francine York commenced her theatrical career at age nine, in a play titled +Keen Teens, or Campus Quarantine; she produced and directed it herself, had it staged at the Aurora (Minnesota) town auditorium, and used the proceeds from the admissions to finance a wienie roast for the local drama club.
